Adults, and boys/girls who are in fourth grade who have received First Holy Communion, are eligible to serve as Altar Servers at our Collaborative. Training is held 2-3 times each year. Servers are scheduled to serve at Mass at least one time each month.
Art & Environment Committee
We have such beautiful Churches. Our Art & Environment Committee make it even more lovely by decorating it at certain times of the year. If you know something about Liturgical Art, or if you enjoy decorating for seasonal celebrations, please consider joining this group.
St. Mary's Church & Sacred Heart Church
We use music at mass to enliven and to add beauty to our liturgy. Music engages the entire Congregation by helping everyone to participate fully in our liturgical celebrations.
If you are an adult singer and interested in singing at the 11:30am Mass, then our music director would enjoy meeting you. The choir will be singing from the loft each week. We will practice after the 11:30am two Sunday’s per month in the church choir loft. SATB voices are encouraged to come join us and of course vocal skills are a plus for any chair.
If you have a singing voice that you want to share with others in praise of our Lord, come and make a joyful noise!

Lectors proclaim the Word of God at mass.
Sanctuary Ministry Team
This group looks after the needs of the Church interior by taking care of linens, vessels, plants, flower arrangements, candles and other items that belong in the sanctuary. They will also make sure that the tables and items by the entry ways are neat and orderly and keep the sacristy in order. Parishioners work in teams of two and usually come to the Church one day a month to take care of the sanctuary.

Spiritual Development Committee
Do you enjoy planning liturgical events, special speakers and parish missions? If so, this is the group for you to join.
Some of the special events the Spiritual Development Committee plans are the All Soul’s Day Mass, Thanksgiving Morning Liturgy, Mass of Anointing, Annual Parish Day of Prayer, the Parish Mission, as well as Lenten and Advent programs.
This would be a great place to begin your involvement at St. Mary’s Parish. The committee only meets about four times a year and meetings are educational, spiritually rewarding and fun!

At St. Mary’s Church, we have ushers serve at all of our masses. They are responsible for taking up the collection, attending to parishioners needs and keeping the bulletins and missalettes tidy.
